# Pre-trade checklist (print me)

**Before the entry**
- [ ] Setup has a name (not "it looks strong")
- [ ] I am inside my planned session hours
- [ ] Risk per trade fixed at __% of account
- [ ] Stop level defined *before* entry, not after
- [ ] Position size = risk / (entry - stop)
- [ ] Reward:risk at least 2:1
- [ ] News / earnings checked for the next 48h

**Risk**
- [ ] Not adding to a loser
- [ ] Total open risk < ____% of account
- [ ] Today's loss is inside the daily limit

**Behaviour**
- [ ] I am not making this trade to "make it back"
- [ ] I am not trading because I am bored
- [ ] I can explain this trade out loud in one sentence
- [ ] If it hits my stop, I will accept it without re-entering
- [ ] I will log it in the journal after
