Open the simulated account. Place three orders and get the mechanics out of your system.
Write your risk rules on paper: % per trade, daily limit, streak rule.
Week 2 — plan, do not trade
Pick one setup. One. Write it precisely enough that someone else could trade it.
Every day, mark the trades you would have taken and what happened.
Log them in the journal, all of them, including the ones you skipped.
Week 3 — smallest real size
Go live at a size where a full stop-out is genuinely boring.
One or two trades a day maximum. The cap matters more than the setup.
Keep logging. Nothing else changes.
Week 4 — review, do not optimise
One change per week. If you change five things, you learn nothing.
Use the review page: look at whether your off-plan trades cost more than your on-plan trades. That single comparison tells you whether to work on discipline or on the strategy.
Take the discipline quiz on day one and again on day thirty. The usual result is that one number gets better and the rest barely moves — which is exactly what progress looks like.
